The communication module is exchangeable, supporting power-line carrier (PLC), radio frequency (RF) and 2G/3G/4G. The communication with the meter is DLMS compliant. The meter CL710K23 can be used with or without communication module.

The CL730S1 is a multi-function three-phase smart meter with exchangeable communication modules. The meter is used to measure electrical energy accurately for commercial and residential customers. CL730S1 can be used for prepayment (STS compliant). The communication with an optional external keypad (user interface unit UIU) can be done via power-line carrier (PLC), radio frequency (RF) or by cable connection.
