Understanding the markings and cross-references
CLOU follows the DIN EN 81346-2 for marking and identification of components inside automated test equipment. The hardware of each component is clearly marked with a yellow identification sticker. This sticker corresponds with the electrically and pneumatically diagrams. The same identifier is also used in service- and operation manuals.
CLOU is using subgroup identifiers. Each component has a unique identifier. Structure of naming:
– (prefix for components)
– letter for main class
– letter for subclass
– incrementing number
A small vertical line at the end of a conductor indicates that the line will continue. The continuity of the line is referenced with page no +/+ row + column
Example: 5/ A2 links to page 5, row A, column 2
