Most of you already know me, but for those who are new here, allow me to introduce myself. One of the most endearing (and sometimes frustrating) aspects of my remote work experience is the presence of my mischievous pet cat, Whiskers. Whiskers has a knack for making surprise appearances during video conferences, much to the amusement of my colleagues. Whether it’s jumping onto my keyboard mid-meeting, pawing at the mouse cursor on the screen, or trying to catch the cursor on my dual monitors, Whiskers always manages to steal the spotlight.
But it’s not just my cat who adds a touch of chaos to my work-from-home routine. Technical glitches have become a regular occurrence in our world. From internet outages at the most inconvenient times to video calls freezing right when you’re about to make a crucial point, these glitches have a way of injecting some unexpected humour into our workdays. Who hasn’t experienced that awkward moment when you’re caught in a frozen screen pose, desperately trying to reconnect and hoping for the best?
As we bid farewell to the challenges of the past year, one of the most exciting moments was the return of in-person conferences and exhibitions. After a three-year hiatus, the energy industry came together once again to showcase the latest innovations, exchange ideas, and connect with colleagues from around the world.
The joy of welcoming visitors from all corners of the globe to our headquarters was palpable. The buzz of excitement filled the air as industry professionals, decision-makers, and experts gathered under one roof, ready to explore the future of electrical energy. These portable solutions serve as indispensable tools for identifying and rectifying losses that may go unnoticed by stationary equipment. Their ability to provide comprehensive assessments directly at the site ensures efficient troubleshooting and accurate diagnosis.
While the integration of portable testing equipment gains momentum, utility companies continue to uphold the importance of traditional meter test laboratories.
